  5. Description:    This program provides a graphical interface for the
  6.                 implementation of the Klatt 1980 formant synthesiser
  7.                 written by Jon Iles (j.p.iles@cs.bham.ac.uk) and Nick
  8.                 Ing-Simmons (nicki@lobby.ti.com).
  9.                 It was inspired by IGE, a piece of code written by Rob
  10.                 Fletcher: http://www.york.ac.uk/~rpf1/IGE.html
  11.                 It includes routines from SFS (the Speech Filing System,
  12.                 available from UCL), predominantly written by Mark
  13.                 Huckvale at UCL.
  14.                 The comprises an X-Window interface written using the
  15.                 SUIT  toolkit and version 3.03 of the synthesiser code.
  16.                 The interface allows users to display and edit Klatt
  17.                 parameters using a graphical display which includes the
  18.                 time-amplitude waveform of both the original speech and
  19.                 its synthetic copy, and some signal analysis facilities.
